We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Pepperl+Fuchs SE. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the region of Nord- und Ostdeutschland.
About the Role
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales approaches
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to customers and stakeholders
- Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the automation and technology industry
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, tactics, and techniques, including account management and relationship building
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
