Country Lead, Business Development

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Country Lead to join our team in the USA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our Battery Lifecycle Management services in the US market.
Key Responsibilities- Market Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our Battery Lifecycle Management services in the USA, including identifying and targeting new market segments, developing sales and marketing campaigns, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of sales, customer success, and account management professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our clients and the achievement of sales targets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key players in the battery industry, including manufacturers, recyclers, and other stakeholders, in order to expand the reach and impact of our Battery Lifecycle Management services.
- Product Development: Collaborate with our product development and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions tailored to the unique needs of the US market, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, and adapt our strategies and offerings to remain competitive and compliant in the US market.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with EU regulations, data security, and privacy policies to maintain the integrity and security of our clients' data.
- Brand Representation: Represent our company as the face of the organization in the USA by engaging in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand awareness and demonstrate high leadership qualities.
- Performance Measurement: Develop and maintain a robust performance measurement system to track and analyze the effectiveness of strategies and ensure continuous improvement.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within the battery industry, executing automotive business, selling high-end technology solutions, preferably in a regional or country-level position.
- Skills: Proven experience working with automotive and/or battery players, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, MBA, sales, or equivalent in experience.
