We are a dynamic and growing company within the Runden Group, committed to making the world more sustainable and reducing waste in the food supply chain. As a Category Manager Meat, you will play a key role in expanding our sales in the Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg region.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new companies in the food sector, focusing on the meat category
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Take ownership of a defined food category, driving sales and revenue growth
  • Conduct regional and cross-sector cross-selling to increase sales
  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Promote and sell our services to customers
  • Design and implement industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and process individual offers, with a focus on results
  • Analyze market and customer trends to inform sales strategies
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, congresses, and conferences
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Completed training or degree in a relevant field, such as business or food science
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the meat and meat processing industry
  • Strong network in the food sector, with a focus on the meat category
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with additional European languages an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of commitment
