Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Independently prepare monthly and quarterly reports for selected companies of the EagleBurgmann Group, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Manage intercompany and netting reconciliations for German companies, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
- Develop and maintain existing processes and tools as a process expert for intercompany accounting, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the Shared Service Center in processing special topics and account clarifications for the debit-side order-to-cash process.
- Post withholding tax and trade tax matters, as well as process individual tax matters in close cooperation with the central tax department.
- Manage and support projects in your area of responsibility, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
- Keep process documentations and process flow charts, as well as internal controls, up to date on an ongoing basis.
- Support the global process owner in the continuous development of processes and tools, driving business excellence.
Qualifications
- Several years of specialized professional experience in operational accounting.
- Strong understanding of operational accounting processes, particularly in order-to-cash and intercompany accounting.
- Very good SAP (FI/CO) knowledge, ideally SAP S/4 HANA.
- Experience in implementing and supporting accounting-related projects.
- Independent and autonomous way of working.
- Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable way of working.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
