Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Independently prepare monthly and quarterly reports for selected companies of the EagleBurgmann Group, providing timely and reliable financial insights.
  • Manage intercompany and netting reconciliations for German companies, maintaining financial integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and continuously improve existing processes and tools as a process expert for intercompany accounting, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Shared Service Center in processing special topics and account clarifications for the debit-side order-to-cash process, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Post withholding tax and trade tax matters, as well as process individual tax matters in close cooperation with the central tax department, maintaining compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage and support projects in your area of responsibility, driving financial goals and objectives.
  • Keep process documentations and process flow charts, as well as internal controls, up to date on an ongoing basis, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
  • Support the global process owner in the continuous development of processes and tools, driving financial excellence.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Several years of specialized professional experience in operational accounting, with a strong understanding of operational accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) - ideally SAP S/4 HANA, with experience in implementing and supporting accounting-related projects.
  • Independent and autonomous way of working, with a structured, solution-oriented, and reliable approach.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
