Corning is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our Carrier Networks sales efforts in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve individual revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Carrier Networks business in Germany.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, provide forecast data, and other reports to ensure accurate tracking of sales performance.
  • Provide market intelligence and "voice of customer" input to other functional departments to inform business decisions.
  • Support regional marketing and market-communication events to promote Corning's products and services.
  • Ensure adherence to Corning's business processes and all other relevant policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Team player spirit with high level of integrity.
  • Hunting attitude, proven sales capabilities, and good presentation, communication, management, and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship-oriented and result-driven with ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Solid technical and business acumen with ability to present and sell solutions in a business context.
  • Ability to interface with C-Level executives, management, and technical decision-makers.
  • Native German speaker (or bilingual) and fluent in English. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to travel nationally/internationally (up to 40%).
  • Strong demonstrable ability to work independently and deliver outputs without close supervision.
