Lending Operations Manager

The Lending Operations division is an integral part of the dynamic Operations department, tasked with overseeing all aspects of loan management at Raisin Bank. This includes responsibilities in fronting, factoring, and refactoring, as well as managing the acquisition and resale of receivables. The team is also engaged in verifying collateral, designing loan templates, acquiring credit assessments, and generating comprehensive reports.
As the prospective Director of Lending Operations, you will be responsible for both the technical and personnel leadership of the team, leveraging your managerial skills to drive optimal performance, streamline processes, and foster team development. Your priorities will include nurturing team cohesion, facilitating employee growth, and continuously enhancing operational efficiency.

With your expertise in the credit industry, you will implement effective onboarding procedures for new partners and products. Additionally, you will confidently engage in communication and correspondence with partners in the fronting and factoring sectors, as well as in discussions with auditors from both internal and external entities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a growing team currently consisting of 8 members.
- Act as the primary contact for the Lending Operations team, providing both professional and disciplinary guidance.
- Drive the ongoing enhancement of process workflows, automation, and IT solutions for your team.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborate closely with the Head of Lending and the Head of Credit Risk Management & Governance.
- Encourage transparent communication and foster a culture of trust within the team.
- Establish efficient onboarding processes for new partners in close collaboration with other departments, ensuring thorough process documentation.
- Participate actively in the launch of new products.
- Completed higher education qualifications.
- Several years of professional experience in the banking or finance sector, preferably in back-office roles related to credit.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards governing credit processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in employee management.
- Proficient in IT and adept with MS Office applications.
- Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of numerical data.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and an effective communicator.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German, along with good English language skills.
