Lending Operations Manager

The Lending Operations division is an integral part of the dynamic and forward-thinking Operations department at Raisin GmbH. This team oversees all aspects of loan management, particularly focusing on fronting, factoring, and refactoring. Responsibilities include managing the acquisition and resale of receivables, verifying collateral, developing loan templates, and generating credit assessments and reports.
As the prospective Head of Lending Operations, you will be responsible for both the technical and personnel leadership of the team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving optimal performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering team development. Your priorities will include cultivating team cohesion, promoting employee growth, and continuously refining processes.

- Lead a growing team of 8 professionals.
- Act as the primary contact for the Lending Operations team, overseeing both professional and disciplinary matters.
- Enhance process flows, automation, and IT solutions for the team.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborate closely with the Head of Lending and the Head of Credit Risk Management & Governance.
- Encourage transparent communication and foster a culture of trust.
- Establish efficient onboarding processes for new partners in collaboration with other departments, ensuring thorough process documentation.
- Contribute actively to the launch of new products.
- Completed higher education.
- Several years of experience in the banking or finance sector, preferably in back-office roles related to credit.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards governing credit processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in employee management.
- Proficient in IT and comfortable using MS Office applications.
- Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of numerical data.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and an effective communicator.
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
