Director of Lending Operations

The Lending Operations division is an integral part of the dynamic and forward-thinking Operations department, overseeing all aspects of loan management at Raisin GmbH. This includes responsibilities in fronting, factoring, and refactoring processes. The team manages the acquisition and subsequent sale or return of receivables, while also ensuring thorough collateral assessments, crafting loan templates, securing credit evaluations, and generating comprehensive reports.
Your RoleAs the prospective Head of Lending Operations, you will assume both technical and personnel leadership of the team, leveraging your managerial skills to drive exceptional outcomes, streamline processes, and foster team growth. Your primary focus will be on cultivating a strong team culture, enhancing employee development, and continuously optimizing operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a team of 8 dedicated professionals.
- Act as the primary contact for the Lending Operations team, addressing both professional and disciplinary matters.
- Engage in the ongoing enhancement of process workflows, automation, and IT solutions tailored for your team.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborate closely with the Head of Lending and the Head of Credit Risk Management & Governance.
- Encourage transparent communication and a trusting work environment.
- Facilitate efficient onboarding processes for new partners in close cooperation with other departments, ensuring thorough process documentation.
- Contribute actively to the launch of new products.
- Possess a relevant degree.
- Have several years of experience in the banking or finance sector, preferably in back office roles related to credit.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards governing credit processes.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with team members, with prior management experience being advantageous.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with MS Office applications.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and a solid grasp of numerical data.
- Showcase teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German, with good command of English.
