Senior Embedded Android Developer Opportunity

About the Role

Optimus Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Android Developer to join our team in a dynamic and innovative company based in the automotive sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge Embedded and Cloud Connectivity platforms for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality code for Android-based embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions on Android platforms
  • Create and modify Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) for low-level Android device features
  • Implement and integrate Android Open Source Project (AOSP) modifications and HALs onto hardware Android variants
  • Research and prototype hardware-accelerated capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in the field to ensure the company remains a leader in its industry

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with C/C++/Embedded Systems
  • Exceptional experience in Android OS development, including SDK/NDK
  • Experience with build systems such as AOSP, Make, cgrep, Soong, etc.
  • Experience working with Java/Kotlin
  • Experience in the Automotive sector is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English
