Senior Embedded Android Developer Opportunity

About the Role

Optimus Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Android Developer to join our team in the automotive sector. As a leader in Embedded and Cloud Connectivity platforms, we are looking for an expert to drive the progression of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality code for Android platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and improve code quality
  • Create and modify Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) for low-level Android device features
  • Implement and integrate Android Open Source Project (AOSP) modifications and HALs onto hardware variants
  • Research and prototype hardware-accelerated capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge tools and techniques in C/C++, Embedded Systems, and Android OS development

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in C/C++ and Embedded Systems development
  • Exceptional experience in Android OS development, including SDK and NDK
  • Experience with build systems such as AOSP, Make, cgrep, and Soong
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
  • Experience in the Automotive sector is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English is essential
