Job Title: Manager Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Quality Assurance to join our team at IGEL Technology. As a key member of our QA department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Linux-based software IGEL OS in the cloud/server-based computing environment.

About the Role

As a Manager Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers to ensure that our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the software development team to identify and prioritize defects, and develop customized QA strategies to achieve our quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of QA engineers to ensure the quality of our software products
  • Develop and implement QA strategies to achieve our quality objectives
  • Coordinate and execute tests to ensure our products are bug-free and user-friendly
  • Monitor the defect process, prioritize defects, and track their resolution
  • Implement and promote QA best practices and tools to ensure efficient workflows and continuous improvement
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of software quality and present them to management and other relevant stakeholders
Requirements
  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of Quality Assurance, ideally with experience in leading a QA team
  • Sound knowledge of software testing methods, test automation, and QA tools
  • Experience in developing and implementing QA strategies in agile software development environments
  • Strong leadership skills and team spirit to motivate and develop the QA team
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Passion for quality and a high level of quality awareness
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
