Role Overview

The Enterprise Security Testing Program Lead plays a crucial role in managing and executing thorough penetration testing initiatives aimed at identifying vulnerabilities within our systems and networks. This position reports to the Head of Security Operations and is integral to our CISO team. The successful candidate will enhance our Security Testing as a Service offerings and other security testing capabilities, collaborating with various teams to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd's cybersecurity posture.

In this position, you will influence the direction of Hapag-Lloyd's cybersecurity framework by engaging in innovative security solutions and working alongside a team of dedicated professionals focused on preempting cyber threats. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive security testing programs, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Provide expert guidance during penetration testing efforts and adversary simulation exercises across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Vulnerability Management to perform thorough assessments and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation.
  • Create detailed reports from testing activities, offering actionable recommendations and best practices for security enhancements.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives and remediation strategies.
  • Promote security awareness and best practices through training initiatives.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate security testing tools for optimal effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on emerging security threats and integrate findings into the testing program.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements related to security testing.
  • Effectively communicate security risks and their implications to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of competencies and methodologies within the CISO functions related to security testing.
Qualifications
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in information security testing, including penetration testing and ethical hacking.
  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, web applications, and cloud technologies.
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
  • Commitment to ethical hacking practices and responsible vulnerability disclosure.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and security-related regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying vulnerabilities and proposing solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to mentor and motivate cybersecurity teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
