Role Overview

The Enterprise Security Testing Program Lead plays a crucial role in managing and executing extensive penetration testing initiatives aimed at identifying vulnerabilities within our systems and networks. This position, reporting to the Head of Security Operations, is integral to the CISO team and focuses on enhancing our Security Testing as a Service offerings, alongside other security evaluation capabilities. Collaboration with various teams is essential to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd's cybersecurity posture.

In this capacity, you will have the chance to influence the cybersecurity strategy by contributing to innovative security solutions and collaborating with a dedicated team focused on preempting cyber threats. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive security and penetration testing strategies to identify system vulnerabilities.
  • Guide penetration testing campaigns and adversary simulation exercises across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Vulnerability Management to conduct thorough assessments and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Produce detailed reports from testing activities, including actionable recommendations and best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives and remediation strategies.
  • Enhance security awareness through training and awareness initiatives.
  • Evaluate and manage security testing tools for optimal effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on the latest security threats and integrate findings into the testing program.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Effectively communicate security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of competencies and methodologies within the CISO functions related to penetration testing.
Qualifications
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in information security testing or related fields.
  • Extensive knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networks, and web applications.
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly regarded.
  • Commitment to ethical hacking practices and responsible vulnerability disclosure.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and security regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying vulnerabilities and proposing solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor cybersecurity professionals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships within the organization.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
