Role Overview

The Enterprise Security Testing Program Lead will play a crucial role in managing and executing thorough penetration testing initiatives aimed at identifying vulnerabilities within our systems and networks. Reporting directly to the Head of Security Operations, this position is integral to our CISO team, responsible for enhancing our Security Testing as a Service offerings and collaborating with various teams to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd's cybersecurity posture.

This role offers the chance to influence the direction of our cybersecurity strategy by developing innovative security solutions and working alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to proactive defense against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive security and penetration testing strategies to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
  • Provide expert guidance during penetration testing efforts and adversary simulation exercises.
  • Collaborate with Vulnerability Management to conduct thorough assessments and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk analysis.
  • Produce detailed reports from testing activities, including actionable recommendations and best practices for security enhancement.
  • Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives and remediation strategies.
  • Foster security awareness and promote best practices throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate and implement security testing tools to optimize effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on the latest security threats and trends, integrating this knowledge into the testing program.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements related to security testing.
  • Effectively communicate security risks and their implications to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of competencies and methodologies within the CISO functions related to penetration testing.
Qualifications
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in information security testing or related domains.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networks, and web application security.
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
  • Commitment to ethical hacking practices and responsible vulnerability disclosure.
  • Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and security-related regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor cybersecurity professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
