In addition, our Terminal & Infrastructure segment manages stakes in 20 terminals across Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa, supported by around 2,600 dedicated employees.
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Platform Security Lead (PSL) to enhance our security framework across platforms. As the PSL within the CISO Department, your role will involve embedding security principles within IT and Development teams, evaluating and addressing potential security vulnerabilities, fostering security awareness, and working closely with our CISO teams to enforce comprehensive security standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**As a Platform Security Lead at Hapag-Lloyd, your duties will include:
- Advocating for security by design principles within IT and development teams.
- Conducting thorough risk evaluations, including design assessments, security requirement generation, gap analysis, validation of security controls, support for penetration testing, guidance on vulnerability remediation, risk articulation, and issuance of formal Risk Opinion reports.
- Facilitating the integration of DevSecOps practices within our DevOps teams.
- Acting as the primary liaison for security-related inquiries, bridging expertise within the CISO department.
- Formally evaluating information security risks associated with business initiatives, assessing potential impacts, and ensuring ongoing remediation efforts throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborating with IT teams (developers, architects, product owners, business) to align platform security with the organization’s risk appetite and threat landscape.
- Developing specialized expertise in platform security, ensuring that embedded security measures align with platform requirements.
- Working with team members to identify and implement standardized security solutions.
- Supporting the CISO Risk & Compliance team and contributing to the creation, review, and update of information security policies.
- Staying abreast of the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technologies.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT and Information Security, demonstrating the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience with security architectures encompassing cloud, mobile, enterprise, web, and application security.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, and PASTA.
- Familiarity with core security standards and frameworks: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, NIST, NTSC, OWASP, CIS, CVSS.
- Expertise in security testing to mitigate issues such as code execution, SQL injection, and cross-site scripting.
- Experience with security in cloud computing and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of security-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Specialized knowledge in web and mobile application security, data protection methods, and the ability to share this expertise with the team.
- A broad understanding of security concepts with deep expertise in two or three specific areas.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
