We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Platform Security Lead (PSL) to enhance our security framework. In this pivotal role within the CISO Department, you will advocate for security integration within IT and Development teams, evaluate and mitigate security risks, foster security awareness, and work closely with our CISO teams to enforce stringent security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:As a Platform Security Lead at Hapag-Lloyd, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting security integration within IT and development teams
- Conducting thorough risk evaluations, including design assessments, security requirement generation, gap analysis, and validation of security controls
- Facilitating the adoption of DevSecOps practices within our DevOps teams
- Acting as the primary liaison for security-related inquiries, connecting with expertise within the CISO department
- Assessing information security risks associated with business initiatives, identifying potential impacts, and ensuring remediation efforts are tracked throughout project lifecycles
- Collaborating with IT personnel (developers, architects, product owners, business) to align platform security with the organization's risk appetite and threat landscape
- Developing specialized expertise in platform security, ensuring that security measures are effectively integrated
- Working with colleagues to identify and implement standardized security solutions
- Supporting the CISO Risk & Compliance team and contributing to the development, review, and update of information security policies
- Staying informed about the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technologies
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT and Information Security, demonstrating the ability to work independently
- Experience with security architectures, including cloud, mobile, enterprise, web, and application security
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, and PASTA
- Familiarity with core security standards and frameworks: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, NIST, NTSC, OWASP, CIS, CVSS
- Expertise in security testing to prevent vulnerabilities such as code execution, SQL injection, and cross-site scripting
- Experience with security in cloud computing and microservices architecture
- Understanding of security-related legal and regulatory requirements
- Specialized knowledge in web and mobile application security, data protection techniques, and the ability to share this expertise with the team
- A broad understanding of security concepts with deep expertise in 2 or 3 specific areas
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
