About the Role

Rivada Space Networks GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior VP Business IT to join our team in Munich or Berlin. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic planning, implementation, and management of our Business Information Technology (BIT) systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organization's overall BIT strategy aligned with its business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timeline tracking.
  • Develop project milestones and deliverables, and ensure adherence to project scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Establish and manage BIT service delivery processes and standards to ensure timely and efficient support to business users.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of BIT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure their reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Establish data governance frameworks and practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and manage the BIT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support BIT initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a IT Director.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align IT strategies with business objectives.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Budgeting and financial management expertise.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Rivada Space Networks GmbH is a leading provider of global low-latency point-to-point connectivity networks of LEO satellites. Our OuterNETTM network will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth.

We are working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
