About the Role

Pacemo GmbH, a pioneering digital funeral services company, is seeking a seasoned Head of Operations to drive strategic growth and operational excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient management of resources, processes, and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage various business functions, including talent, people, legal, strategy, operations, and analytics
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with our founders and people lead to shape the company's vision and goals
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and provide strategic guidance on key business decisions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Develop and implement data-driven approaches to solve complex problems and drive business outcomes
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of B2B, SaaS, and scaling models
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals
  • Emotional intelligence, with the ability to build and maintain healthy working relationships
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to apply first principles thinking to drive innovation
