About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editor to join our Golf Content Team at Sky Group. As an Editor, you will be responsible for the organization and management of live golf broadcasts, as well as the development and implementation of new golf content formats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage live golf broadcasts, including the coordination of experts and co-commentators.
  • Develop and implement new golf content formats, including research and writing of commentary and reporting assignments.
  • Collaborate with the Golf Content Team to create engaging and high-quality content for all linear and digital Sky platforms.
  • Manage and coordinate the acquisition of experts and co-commentators, as well as interview requests.
  • Drive the creation of linear and digital content, and serve as the primary point of contact for players, golf organizers, and associations.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of professional experience in a TV sports editorial office, with a degree in media economics or sports science.
  • High level of expertise and good contacts in the field of golf.
  • Experience as a sequence editor, head of broadcasting, reporter, filmmaker, or commentary.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent German and good English skills.
