Exciting Opportunity at Sky for Golf Broadcast OrganizerKey Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage live golf broadcasts on all Sky platforms, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality content.
  • Deliver engaging commentary and reporting services for golf tournaments, leveraging expertise and creativity to captivate audiences.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify compelling topics for commentary and reporting, staying up-to-date with the latest golf trends and developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative golf content for both linear and digital platforms, driving audience engagement and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with experts and co-commentators to secure high-profile acquisitions and interview requests, fostering strong relationships and securing exclusive content.
  • Develop and produce linear and digital content, working closely with players, organizers, and associations to create engaging and informative content.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in media economics or sports science, combined with 5-6 years of experience in TV sports editorial, with a strong focus on golf.
  • Proven expertise and extensive network in golf, with a deep understanding of the sport's nuances and complexities.
  • Experience in editing, broadcasting, reporting, filmmaking, or commentary, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality content.
  • Excellent journalistic creativity, teamwork skills, and flexibility to work weekends and shifts, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
