Job Opportunity: Golf Broadcast Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Golf Broadcast Coordinator to join our team at Sky Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our sports editorial office, you will be responsible for the organization of live golf broadcasts, including the management and planning of live golf programs in Munich.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage live golf broadcasts, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality content.
  • Develop and implement new formats for golf broadcasts, working closely with our team of experts.
  • Research and identify topics for commentary and reporting assignments, showcasing your expertise in golf.
  • Collaborate with our team to create engaging golf content for all linear and digital Sky platforms.
  • Coordinate with experts, co-commentators, and interview requests to enhance our golf programming.
  • Drive the creation of linear and digital content, serving as the primary point of contact for players, golf organizers, and associations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in media economics or sports science, with a traineeship and 5-6 years of professional experience in a TV sports editorial office.
  • Proven expertise in golf, with a strong network of contacts in the industry.
  • Experience in sequence editing, broadcasting, reporting, filmmaking, or commentary.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen sense for current topics and their journalistic implementation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts, with a high level of resilience and adaptability.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills.
