Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled (Senior) Data Engineer (f/d/m) to join our team at Vorwerk Digital. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative digital data products for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Agile team to design and implement robust data pipelines for AI applications
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into our products
  • Optimize and scale data processing systems for efficient model training and inference
  • Contribute to the development of diverse projects spanning natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for technical and operational aspects of your deliveries
  • Participate in regular exchanges with our communities to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on AI and machine learning applications, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Ability to excel in an Agile and open environment
  • Strong focus on customer value and customer experience
  • Experience in languages and frameworks such as Python, PyTorch, Spark, or Scala
  • Experience in Data and Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS and Databricks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact internationally and with various stakeholders
  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Computer Science or other technical fields is considered a plus in addition to your practical work experience
  • Fluent English language skills, German language is a plus
