Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Director in Experimental Toxicology to join our team. As a Study Director, you will be responsible for leading pre-clinical toxicity studies under non-GLP and GLP conditions in rodents and non-rodents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate non-clinical study activities, including study design, protocol development, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts, to ensure seamless execution of studies.
- Scientifically evaluate and interpret complex study results, providing recommendations for regulatory submissions and potential new therapies.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare, GLP, and occupational health regulations, maintaining a high level of quality and integrity in all aspects of study conduct.
Requirements
- University degree (M.Sc.) in natural sciences, toxicology, pharmacology, or veterinarian (DVM) or human medical doctor (DM) combined with long-term working experience in a relevant field.
- Solid scientific understanding of animal welfare, including knowledge of FELASA, GV-SOLAS, and Board Certified Veterinarian.
- Knowledge and understanding of GLP regulations, with comprehensive knowledge and experience in toxicology.
- Ability to analyze complex data and set up problem-solving strategies, with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication capabilities.
- Situational leadership skills and strong motivational skills, with fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
