PhD Researcher in Bioprocessing for Inflammatory Response Analysis

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, Branch Bioanalytics and Bioprocesses. The successful candidate will work on the development of an in vitro system for analyzing inflammatory responses triggered by pharmaceutical compounds.
The project involves the analysis of cell-based inflammatory pathways after drug administration and the transfer of these pathways to a cell-free system. The candidate will use cell culture and microscopy techniques, CRISPR/Cas, protein detection methods such as Western blotting and ELISA, cell-free protein synthesis, and protein-protein interaction studies such as pull-down assays.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in immunology, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a similar scientific field. Prior work in the field of immunology and experience with molecular and biochemical methods are highly desirable. The candidate should also have experience in cell culture methods and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
