Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the LNG Trading and Origination team to manage physical ammonia positions (and future financial and risk management), focusing on various geographical markets.
- Contribute to the formulation of trading strategies and methodologies while striving for continuous improvement.
- Partner with the analytics team to assess and manage risk through applicable derivative hedging strategies.
- Ensure that trading volumes align with risk limits and yield profitable outcomes for the organization.
- Provide assistance to the LNG Trading/Logistics team in deal documentation and contractual obligations related to ammonia operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of and compliance with Uniper's Risk and Compliance policies and standards relevant to this role, as well as the Code of Conduct.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in economics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Ideally, five or more years of experience in commodity markets.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and hedging strategies.
- Proficient in risk analysis techniques and economic assessments.
- Stay informed about current trends in relevant commodity markets.
- Understanding of the supply and demand dynamics within ammonia markets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
