Grid Code Testing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Grid Code Testing Team Lead to join our Windfarm Control Operations department within Global Project Management.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers, providing functional and disciplinary leadership.
  • Ensure Grid Code Compliance for Wind Farm projects by performing, evaluating, and documenting Grid Code compliance tests and analyzing test data.
  • Support Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Nordex products to rate Grid Code compliance.
  • Optimize processes within Grid Code compliance and review internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients' experts to elaborate project-specific testing and solutions.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent technical education.
  • First experience in leading a team of engineers, with experience in Grid Code Testing with Wind Farm projects and test cases in Grid Code Testing Procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation is valuable.
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English, with Spanish and/or German a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, planning, and organizational skills, with a proactive, assertive, and team player attitude.
  • Willingness to go on business trips (5-10%).
