Job Summary

Nordex Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Grid Code Testing team. As a Senior Grid Code Testing Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers and ensuring the compliance of our wind farm projects with grid code regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers and provide functional and disciplinary leadership.
  • Develop and implement Grid Code compliance strategies for wind farm projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Grid Code compliance and grid connection.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Grid Code testing and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance.
  • Communicate with clients' experts to elaborate project-specific testing and solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or other equivalent technical education.
  • First experience in leading a team of engineers and experience in Grid Code Testing with wind farm projects.
  • Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation.
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and/or German.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
