Nordex Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Grid Code Testing team. As a Senior Grid Code Testing Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers and ensuring the compliance of our wind farm projects with grid code regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers and provide functional and disciplinary leadership.
- Develop and implement Grid Code compliance strategies for wind farm projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Grid Code compliance and grid connection.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Grid Code testing and compliance.
- Develop and maintain internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance.
- Communicate with clients' experts to elaborate project-specific testing and solutions.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or other equivalent technical education.
- First experience in leading a team of engineers and experience in Grid Code Testing with wind farm projects.
- Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details.
- Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation.
- Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and/or German is a plus.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, assertive, and a team player.
