Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and field operations in Monheim. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our operations, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and field teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks and processes.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and structure workflows, including shift planning and performance monitoring.
  • Safety and Quality
    • Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of quality, including vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, including landlords, 3PL providers, and local business associations.
    • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to screen and interview new hires, and provide onboarding and training support.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in operations management.
  • Operational Expertise
    • General knowledge of digital work tools (MS-office, G-suite, ERP systems) and data tools (e.g. Tableau).
    • Understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
