Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and field operations in Monheim. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and field teams, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and structure workflows, including shift planning and performance monitoring.
- Safety and Quality
- Act as a safety role model, promoting a culture of safety and risk awareness within the team.
- Ensure high standards of quality in vehicle maintenance, repairs, and operations.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external parties, including landlords, 3PL partners, staffing agencies, and local business associations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, address concerns, and drive business growth.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in operations management.
- Operational Expertise
- General knowledge of digital work tools (MS-office, G-suite, ERP systems) and data tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Language Skills
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
