Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors with nominal voltage higher than 1kV, including auxiliaries and electrical protection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute site commissioning of electrical balance of plant equipment, including power distribution boards, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Perform fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and meet quality requirements.
  • Handover equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed education in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators, electrical machines, switchgear, transformers, excitation, and/or protection systems.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, with German and other languages being an advantage.
  • MS-Office skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Unlimited readiness for worldwide business trips and site deployment.
