Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at Voith Group. As an Electrical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing hardware for control systems in the hydropower sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and dimension control cabinets and select system components.
  • Coordinate hardware planning with internal and external service providers and clarify interfaces with customers.
  • Create circuit and terminal diagrams, wiring lists, and parts lists using CAD and CAE systems.
  • Responsible for compliance with deadlines and quality.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical or automation engineering and several years of professional experience in electrical design.
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards according to VDE, DIN-EN, and electrical safety technology.
  • Experience with Siemens and Rockwell control systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of common CAD/CAE systems, such as RUPLAN/EPLAN P8.
  • Confident handling of MS-Office and SAP ERP applications.
  • Independent, structured, and systematic way of working.
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
  • Readiness for business trips and assignments on construction sites worldwide.
