About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of hydro turbines and mechanical balance of plant equipment worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute site commissioning of hydro turbines and auxiliaries and governing systems worldwide.
  • Lead and execute site commissioning of mechanical balance of plant equipment such as cooling water systems, drainage and dewatering systems, oil supply systems and hydraulic steel structures worldwide.
  • Fault finding, optimization and reporting during the commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of commissioning works and meet quality requirements.
  • Handover of equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering and experience in commissioning of hydro turbines including auxiliaries and governing systems. Alternatively, a technician level education with relevant professional experience will be considered. You must be fluent in English and have good MS-Office skills. You will also need to be willing to travel worldwide for short and long-term business trips.
