About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group.

Your Tasks

  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of hydro turbines, including auxiliaries and governing systems, worldwide.
  • Oversee the commissioning of mechanical balance of plant equipment, such as cooling water systems, drainage and dewatering systems, oil supply systems, and hydraulic steel structures.
  • Conduct fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality requirements.
  • Hand over equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

About You

  • Hold a degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
  • Have experience in commissioning hydro turbines, including auxiliaries and governing systems.
  • Alternatively, possess a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and have knowledge of German and other languages as an advantage.
  • Have MS-Office skills.
  • Be willing to undertake worldwide short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Demonstrate result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Have intercultural experience as an advantage.
