As a Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) Hydro Power Turbines and Balance of Plant mechanical, you will support the Voith Group I Group Division Hydro in leading and/or executing site commissioning (worldwide) of hydro turbines including auxiliaries and governing systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and/or execution of site commissioning (worldwide) of hydro turbines including auxiliaries and governing systems.
  • Leading and/or execution of site commissioning (worldwide) of mechanical balance of plant equipment such as cooling water systems, drainage and dewatering systems, oil supply systems, and hydraulic steel structures.
  • Fault finding, optimization, and reporting during the commissioning works.
  • Responsibility for meeting time schedules and quality requirements.
  • Handover of equipment and training of customers.
  • Technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

Your Profile

  • Completed education (degree) in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning of hydro turbines including auxiliaries and governing systems is an advantage.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience is also considered.
  • Fluent English spoken and written. German and further languages knowledge is an advantage (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French).
  • MS-Office skills.
  • Unlimited readiness for worldwide short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
