Position Overview:

Are you an experienced buyer with a strategic mindset, ready to take on a new challenge in the dynamic aviation sector? We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our strategic purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume comprehensive, global oversight of the strategic procurement process from 'source to contract' for one of our business units. Formulate and execute commodity group strategies in collaboration with the respective business unit. Identify, assess, and nurture supplier relationships in partnership with various departments. Enhance supplier management and take charge of risk management initiatives. Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Management Team to develop suppliers, ensuring sustainable relationships in a predominantly oligopolistic market. Conduct negotiations regarding pricing and contracts with suppliers. Manage national and international special projects and tasks related to procurement on a global scale.

Candidate Profile:

Possess a degree in business or a technical field. Have initial professional experience in purchasing drawing parts and/or catalog components, with a desire for further development. Demonstrate experience in managing single sourcing suppliers and fostering sustainable relationships. Exhibit strong communication skills, both internally and externally, alongside excellent teamwork abilities, decisiveness, and analytical thinking. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Proficiency in English and German is essential.
