About the Role:

Brightsmith, a leading B Corp, is seeking an experienced European Head of Sales to lead our sales efforts and strategies in the EV Charging industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, managing a sales team, and identifying and growing relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the European market.
  • Lead a Sales Team: Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement: Identify and build relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Event Participation: Represent Brightsmith at industry conferences and events across Europe to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate team performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure sales targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in the energy or EV Charging industry, specifically in hardware manufacturing.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and team performance.
  • Commercial Acumen: Excellent commercial understanding, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Geographic Experience: Experience setting up new business units in new geographies, with a strong understanding of the European market.
