Demand Planning Lead

In this role, you will lead the demand planning process for our Cluster, working closely with the Market organization to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with business targets. Your expertise will drive process improvements, leveraging SAP IBP and other planning systems to enhance forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities• Lead the demand planning review and sign-off process, ensuring key assumptions and building blocks are aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Market organization to ensure forecast accuracy and bias align with set targets.
• Develop and lead a team of Demand Planners, providing guidance on demand forecasting platforms and planning systems.
• Oversee the monthly governance process, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure systems and processes are aligned with global demand planning standards.
• Drive the adoption of SAP IBP and related processes across the Cluster and related Markets.
• Utilize experience with demand forecasting platforms to drive efficiency and accuracy in planning processes.
• Align strategic roadmaps with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and business areas.
• Address demand-planning process-related issues, such as fragmented forecasting approaches or difficulties in acquiring information from siloed teams.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of category trends, brands' market share, and stock-in-trade visibility to leverage forecast capabilities.
• Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new demand planning coordinators within the Cluster.
• Enable process design through technology and analytics.
• Track KPIs and benefits into the business.
• Ensure actions to improve demand-planning performance are in place and track progress.
• Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals.
This role requires:
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Experience in people management
- Fluency in German and English
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP
