Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning professional to lead our Cluster Demand Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand forecasting processes, working closely with the Market organization to ensure forecast accuracy and bias aligns with set targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Demand Planning Review and Sign-off process at Cluster Level, ensuring key assumptions and building blocks drive changes month on month;
- Ensure demand planning review processes happen on time, helping the multifunctional team comply with requirements and actively participate and contribute as per their defined roles;
- Lead and develop Demand Planners within the Cluster, including seamless collaboration with Commercial team;
- Oversee the monthly governance process to monitor progress and take corrective actions when required;
- Ensure systems and processes are in line with global demand planning standards;
- Ensure smooth roll-out of SAP IBP and related processes across the Cluster and related Markets;
- Utilize experience with demand forecasting platforms (SAP IBP) and other planning systems to drive efficiency and accuracy in our planning processes;
- Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and different parts of the business;
- Address demand-planning process-related issues, such as a fragmented approach to forecasting demand or difficulty in acquiring information from siloed teams in a timely and effective manner;
- Develop in-depth understanding of category trends, brands' market share & performance within categories, and stock in trade visibility to leverage forecast capabilities;
- Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new demand planning coordinators within the Cluster;
- Enable process design through technology and analytics;
- Track KPIs and benefits into the business;
- Ensure actions to improve demand-planning performance are in place and track progress;
- Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals;
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Demand Planning;
- 10+ years experience in Supply Chain;
- Experience in people management;
- Fluency in German and English;
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field;
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP;
