About the Role
Perrigo is a leading manufacturer of self-care products, and we're seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Lead to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving forecast accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Demand Planning Review and Sign-off process at the cluster level, ensuring that key assumptions and building blocks drive changes month-over-month.
- Ensure timely completion of demand planning review processes, facilitating collaboration among multifunctional teams and promoting active participation and contribution.
- Develop and lead Demand Planners within the cluster, fostering seamless collaboration with the Commercial team.
- Oversee the monthly governance process to monitor progress and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure that systems and processes align with global demand planning standards.
- Drive the smooth rollout of SAP IBP and related processes across the cluster and related markets.
- Utilize experience with demand forecasting platforms (SAP IBP) and other planning systems to drive efficiency and accuracy in planning processes.
- Align the strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and business areas.
- Address demand-planning process-related issues, such as fragmented approaches to forecasting demand or difficulties in acquiring information from siloed teams in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of category trends, brands' market share and performance within categories, and stock-in-trade visibility to leverage forecast capabilities.
- Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new demand planning coordinators within the cluster.
- Enable process design through technology and analytics.
- Track KPIs and benefits into the business.
- Ensure actions to improve demand-planning performance are in place and track progress.
- Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, preferably in the Consumer Self-Care or FMCG industry.
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain.
- Experience in people management.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, and SAP IBP.
