In this role, you will lead the team of Cluster Demand Planners in short-term and long-term market demand forecasting processes. You will work collaboratively with the Market organization to ensure forecast accuracy and bias aligns with set targets.
Key Responsibilities• Lead Demand Planning Review and Sign-off process at Cluster Level, ensuring key assumptions and building blocks drive changes month on month;
• Ensure timely Demand Planning review processes, facilitating multifunctional team compliance and active participation;
• Lead and develop Demand Planners within the Cluster, fostering seamless collaboration with Commercial teams;
• Oversee monthly governance to monitor progress and take corrective actions when required;
• Ensure systems and processes align with global demand planning standards;
• Drive smooth SAP IBP and related process rollouts across the Cluster and related Markets;
• Leverage experience with demand forecasting platforms (SAP IBP) and other planning systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
• Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and business areas;
• Address demand-planning process-related issues, such as fragmented forecasting approaches or information acquisition challenges;
• Develop in-depth understanding of category trends, brands' market share, and stock in trade visibility to leverage forecast capabilities;
• Support hiring, training, and onboarding of new demand planning coordinators within the Cluster;
• Enable process design through technology and analytics;
• Track KPIs and benefits into the business;
• Ensure actions to improve demand-planning performance are in place and track progress;
• Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals;
This role requires the following experience (preferably from Consumer Self-Care, FMCG industry):
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Experience in people management
- Fluency in German and English
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP
