Demand Planning Leader

Key Responsibilities- Lead the team of Cluster Demand Planners on both short-term and long-term market demand forecasting processes
- Collaborate with the Market organization to ensure forecast accuracy and bias aligns with set targets
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to drive business growth and improve forecasting accuracy
- Lead and develop Demand Planners within the Cluster, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless collaboration with Commercial teams
- Oversee the monthly governance process to monitor progress and take corrective actions when required
- Ensure that systems and processes are in line with global demand planning standards
- Utilize experience with demand forecasting platforms (SAP IBP) and other planning systems to drive efficiency and accuracy in our planning processes
- Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and different parts of the business
- Address demand-planning process related issues, such as a fragmented approach to forecasting demand or difficulty in acquiring information from siloed teams in a timely and effective manner
- Develop in-depth understanding of category trends, brands' market share & performance within categories, and stock in trade visibility to leverage forecast capabilities
- Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new demand planning coordinators within the Cluster
- Enable process design through technology and analytics
- Track KPIs and benefits into the business
- Ensure actions to improve demand-planning performance are in place and track the progress
- Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals
- 5+ years experience in Demand Planning
- 10+ years experience in Supply Chain
- Experience in people management
- Fluency in German and English
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP
