Product Manager AI Electric Automation Specialist

About the Job:
Festo is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the integration of modern algorithms from fields such as artificial intelligence and large language models into our Electric Automation products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor technological developments and identify potential applications in machine automation.
- Conduct competitive observations and benchmarks to inform product development.
- Collaborate with sales and development teams to understand customer requirements and innovation potential.
- Develop and present proposals for implementing software product roll-outs.
- Manage the product backlog and develop demonstrators for solutions.
- Coordinate with sales and development teams as the central contact person for Advanced Algorithms for Control.
Requirements:
- Completed technical studies in computer engineering or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in product management or sales, with experience in development or research a plus.
- Knowledge of the market and technology in control technology in mechanical engineering.
- Basic knowledge of AI and large language models, with agile software development experience a plus.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German.
- High level of self-motivation and perseverance.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with holistic thinking a must.
- Persuasiveness and enthusiasm.
