Position OverviewOur Business Unit Tubular Glass is seeking a skilled and committed Manager of Operational Excellence (m/f/d) to enhance our European and Asian operations and spearhead improvement initiatives. This role presents the potential for advancement into a Plant Manager (m/f/d) position within a timeframe of 2 to 3 years.
- Directing and structuring continuous improvement initiatives at manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia, concentrating on quality enhancement, process capability, and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Facilitating and supporting a variety of (Lean) projects, some of which span multiple facilities
- Conducting data analysis, planning, and executing improvement initiatives
- Stabilizing production workflows, establishing work and process standards, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Fostering a dynamic workplace culture centered on continuous improvement
- Regularly reporting and collaborating with the Business Unit Leader
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in Operational Excellence, including leadership and execution of continuous improvement processes and standardization of work practices
- Demonstrated experience in project management at both regional and global scales
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities with a proactive approach
- Fluency in both German and English
- Willingness to travel frequently to our production facilities
