Export Compliance and Customs Consultant

Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of an efficient Compliance Management System, with a focus on ECC controls across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
- Analyzing ECC requirements and translating them into actionable process requirements, ensuring streamlined execution.
- Monitoring and advising on global ECC controls within our SAP R/3 environment as part of a dedicated expert team.
- Driving the implementation of next-generation ECC solutions, enhancing existing applications to ensure compliance with legal and internal standards.
- Managing complex projects aimed at integrating and automating compliance activities within business processes.
- Acting as a liaison between operational compliance and the business community, collaborating with legal, IT, and technical experts to deliver effective solutions.
- Promoting standardization and harmonization of compliance solutions across various operational areas.
- Facilitating positive change management through proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Designing and conducting training sessions on IT-related export control and customs topics.
- A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, complemented by extensive experience in export control and customs.
- Demonstrated expertise in international project management, with a proven ability to lead project streams.
- In-depth knowledge of export control, customs, and logistical ERP processes, particularly within SAP R/3 and S/4 Hana, with advanced skills in the 'Materials Management' and 'Sales & Distribution' modules.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (e.g., Excel, Teams, Power BI) and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with dashboarding applications such as PowerBI, QlikSense, or Tableau is advantageous.
- Knowledge of programming or database querying languages, such as Oracle DB, is a plus.
- A consultative approach to business processes, coupled with a strong IT background.
- A proactive and open-minded working style, with strong decision-making and results-oriented capabilities.
- Fluency in English is essential, with German language skills being an additional asset.
