Join our team as an Export Control and Customs (ECC) Specialist (f/m/d) in Processes and Applications at Innomotics – A Siemens Business.

Your role in the organization.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Leading the development and maintenance of an efficient Compliance Management System, emphasizing ECC controls across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • Assessing ECC requirements and translating them into actionable process requirements, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Monitoring and advising on global ECC controls within our SAP R/3 framework as part of a worldwide expert team.
  • Driving the implementation of next-generation ECC solutions, enhancing existing applications while ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards.
  • Managing complex projects aimed at integrating and automating compliance activities within business operations.
  • Acting as a liaison between operational compliance and various stakeholders, including legal, IT, and technical teams, to implement effective solutions.
  • Promoting standardization and harmonization of compliance solutions across all operational areas.
  • Facilitating change management through proactive communication with relevant parties.
  • Designing and delivering training sessions on IT-related export control and customs topics.
Your qualifications:
  • A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, along with extensive experience in export control and customs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international project management with the ability to lead project streams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of export control, customs, and logistics ERP processes, particularly within SAP R/3 and S/4 Hana, with advanced skills in relevant SAP modules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications (e.g., Excel, Teams, Power BI) coupled with strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, QlikSense, or Tableau is advantageous.
  • Understanding of programming or database querying languages, like Oracle DB, is a plus.
  • A consultative approach to business processes, combined with a solid IT background.
  • A proactive and open-minded work style, with strong decision-making and results-oriented skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with German language skills being an added advantage.
