The Sales Development Executive position is crucial for enhancing business expansion in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) by formulating and implementing effective sales strategies, meeting objectives, nurturing client relationships, and uncovering new growth avenues.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-driven individual with a proactive approach, eager to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a detailed sales strategy for the DACH region.
  • Conduct thorough planning, analyze performance metrics, and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Leverage sales analytics for performance monitoring and enhancement of sales processes.
  • Assist the organization in achieving its overall objectives by crafting and executing the appropriate commercial strategy.
  • Ensure the precision and dependability of data entered into the CRM system.

Core Duties:

  • Effectively represent the organization with an in-depth understanding of product offerings.
  • Engage and cultivate professional relationships with clients and colleagues remotely through various digital platforms (virtual sales presentations, sales analytics tools, CRM).
  • Travel as required for client engagements, industry events, and team collaboration.
  • Identify client needs and illustrate how the company's solutions are optimally positioned to meet those needs.
  • Generate leads and establish productive relationships to broaden the customer base globally.
  • Recognize emerging needs within the industry and communicate observations, analyses, and recommendations to relevant internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales management within a company that provides science-backed ingredients for the dietary supplement sector or experience in contract or private label manufacturing (preferred).
  • A degree in a relevant field (business, sciences, or food technology).
  • A commercial background with a keen interest in nutraceuticals.
  • Proven success in managing the complete sales cycle from planning to successful closure.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
