Senior Account Executive for Key Clients

Position Overview:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business within a designated group of ServiceNow's most significant existing clients. Your role will involve managing executive relationships for assigned accounts and leading cross-functional teams, including Solution Sales, Solution Consulting, Support, and Professional Services, to cater to our esteemed clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic guidance to clients
  • Act as the primary relationship manager between clients and ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with various ServiceNow solution teams to create tailored solutions that align with the client's strategic objectives
  • Manage all executive-level interactions between ServiceNow and designated clients
  • Oversee the global development of assigned accounts, including the allocation and deployment of resources
  • Establish trust and foster deep, multi-tiered relationships within the client's organization, from project teams to executive leadership
  • Formulate a clear strategy and enhance capabilities across our clients and ServiceNow teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Meet financial goals set for the assigned clients, encompassing Licenses, Renewals, and Professional Services
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in client management, with a focus on aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities
  • At least 2 years of proven experience managing high-value key accounts
  • A track record of successfully navigating multi-million dollar deal negotiations
  • Prior sales experience in IT Service Management, HR, Security Operations, Customer Service, and IT Operations Management within software or IT sales organizations
  • Experience in achieving sales targets
  • Experience in leading virtual or matrixed teams
  • The ability to comprehend broad, macro-level business IT needs for prospective clients
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on geography/region
  • Fluency in both German and English
