Digital Publishing Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Publishing Manager to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our global marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering the adidas message to our consumers through owned and paid social media channels, as well as partner channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive publishing strategy across owned, paid social, and partner channels, aligned with the global brand and category calendars.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute local content production to land relevant stories in Central Europe.
- Manage social media platforms and external partners to drive the publishing strategy and brand calendars.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create brand-relevant content pieces that matter for our consumers.
- Manage the process from brief to creation, sign-off, and publishing, ensuring seamless execution.
- Champion the need for authentic branded content that is relevant, true to the brand, insight-led, innovative, and impactful.
- Work with media agencies and communications teams to deliver best-in-class media planning and execution, ensuring all campaigns and content are fully tagged and tracked for measurement.
- Partner closely with external agencies to deliver excellence in content, community management, and creator experience.
Key Relationships:
- Brand adidas: EU/Global Newsrooms (inc. PR, Editorial, and Content, Analytics & Partner Publishing)
- Brand adidas: Global/EU and local brand communication/activation + Marketing (inc. Media)
- Brand adidas: PR, Sports Marketing, and Culture Marketing
- Sales adidas: Global Key City teams, Digital Activation Team, Membership team, Customer Service & Data Analytics
- External partners: creative agencies, clubs/federations, athletes/partners media agency
Requirements:
- Strong team player with proven experience in content creation and publishing for social media
- Experience in managing and briefing agencies
- Advanced project management skills
- Advanced experience and continued curiosity with major social media networks (Instagram, BeReal, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, etc.)
- Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned, and paid
- Detailed knowledge and passion for Sport & Culture, as well as the entertainment industry
- Advanced presentation and organizational skills
- Confident in capturing and editing short videos on iPhone
- Creative, collaborative, and confident
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital, or a related field
- 5+ years' industry and/or relevant work experience
- Competent in Microsoft packages
